The Ughelli North Football Council has announced a partnership with Player Agent/Intermediary-Scout Paul Ojo to host the Under 17 Cup, a prestigious football tournament aimed at discovering and developing young talents in the sport.
In a short period since assuming office, the Chairman of Ughelli North Football Council, Mr. Onome Johnbull Ikrechero, has made giant strides in promoting youth development in football. His efforts have attracted key individuals and tournaments to support the growth of young players in the region.
The partnership with Paul Ojo is a testament to the council's dedication to providing opportunities for young talents to shine. According to Mr. Ikrechero, "We approached Mr. Paul Ojo for this partnership, and he did not hesitate to be a part of it. We are excited about this collaboration."
The tournament, scheduled to kick off on November 1st, 2024, at the Ughelli Stadium and Ogor Technical College pitch, will feature teams from various regions competing for honours.
