CAF Sets Deadline for Nigerian Clubs to Confirm Match Venues

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has issued a directive to Nigerian clubs participating in the Champions League and Confederation Cup, urging them to confirm their match venues by July 22nd.

Last week, CAF released the list of approved stadiums for the upcoming tournaments, and none of the Nigerian clubs had their stadiums approved. This has prompted the football governing body to request that teams without approved venues communicate their adopted stadiums to CAF by the specified deadline.

The deadline for submission is July 22nd, and failure to comply will result in CAF scheduling the matches at a stadium of their choice. This directive affects Rangers International and Remo Stars, who will compete in the Champions League, as well as Enyimba International and El-Kanemi Warriors, who will participate in the Confederation Cup.

CAF expects all affected clubs to comply with this directive to avoid any potential disruptions to the tournaments. The football governing body is committed to ensuring a successful and smooth execution of the Champions League and Confederation Cup.
