As the 2024 Delta State Football League approaches, Excellent Football Club and its academy side, comprising the U-17 Boys team, are gearing up for a rigorous tour of Oleh. This strategic move is designed to prepare both teams for the challenges that lie ahead in the upcoming league.
According to the CEO of Excellent Football Club, Mr. Onome Ikrechero Johnbull, the tour is a crucial part of their preparations. "We are committed to ensuring that our teams are adequately prepared to face the task ahead. The tour of Oleh provides an excellent opportunity for our players to gain valuable experience and hone their skills," he revealed.
The tour, which kicks off on Tuesday, July 23rd, will see Excellent Academy take on Unique Stars Emede at 4pm at the Oleh Township Stadium, while Excellent FC will face Royal Eagles Oleh at 4pm on the same day. On Wednesday, July 24th, Excellent FC will play Delta Eagles Ozoro at 8am, followed by a match between New Light Academy Oleh and Excellent Academy at 4pm.
The tour promises to be an exciting and intense period of preparation for both teams, and fans can expect to see some thrilling matches. With their sights set on success in the 2024 Delta State Football League, Excellent FC and Academy are leaving no stone unturned in their quest for victory.
