The Ughelli North Football Council (UNFC) has announced the schedule for the highly anticipated 2024/2025 league, set to kick off on November 20th, 2024. The tournament will feature eight teams competing in a round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the Super 4 stage.
The opening match will see Excellent Football Club face off against Cardio's Football Club, while Solution FC will battle Maro 11 FA in the second match of the day. Each club is required to register a minimum of 30 players to encourage team depth and provide opportunities for a broader range of players to participate.
The league promises to be a thrilling encounter, with teams battling for a spot in the Super 4. The top four teams will secure a berth in the next stage of the competition, which will be played in a knockout format to determine the eventual league winner.
