The organizers of the 2024 Delta Preseason tournament, Excellent FA Sports Limited, have announced the prize money for the winners and first runner-up of the competition. The tournament, scheduled to take place from October 24th to 27th, 2024, at the Kwale and Oleh Stadiums in Delta State, will see the winner receive a cash prize of #500,000, a giant trophy, medals, and a set of customized jerseys.
The first runner-up will receive a cash prize of #300,000, medals, and a set of customized jerseys. To participate in the tournament, NNL clubs are required to pay a registration fee of #150,000.
According to Mr. Onome Johnbull, CEO of Excellent FA Sports Limited, "This event provides an opportunity for NNL clubs to compete and gauge their readiness for the new season, while also offering fans a chance to enjoy high-quality football."
