As the sixth edition of the Stephen Keshi National U-17 Football Tournament approaches, Mr. Onome Ikrechero Johnbull, CEO of Excellent Football Academy, Ughelli, has urged stakeholders to rally behind the Stephen Keshi Football and Vocational Training Center (SKFVTC) Obazuwa and the tournament organization.
Mr. Johnbull, also Chairman of Ughelli North Football Council, praised ex-international and Secretary of the Stephen Keshi Football and Vocational Training Center (SKFVTC), Austin Popo, for his immense contributions to the tournament's success. "Austin Popo's dedication and expertise have been instrumental in shaping this tournament into the premier platform it is today," he noted.
The Stephen Keshi National U-17 Football Tournament is organized under the auspices of the Stephen Keshi Football and Vocational Training Center (SKFVTC) to immortalize and preserve the legacies of late Stephen Keshi, both as a coach and player, to the overall development of football in Africa.
Excellent Football Academy, defending champions, are poised to dominate the sixth edition, scheduled to take place from November 19-24, 2024, at the Nigerian Postal Institute (NPI) in Egor, Benin City, Edo State. Teams will arrive on November 19, with the tournament kicking off on November 20 and concluding on November 24.
