Randy Waldrum has tendered his resignation as the Head Coach of the Super Falcons, citing health concerns regarding his wife as the primary reason for his decision. In a letter dated September 12th, Waldrum expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead the team but emphasized the need to prioritize his family's well-being.
Waldrum stated, "The past few weeks have been incredibly challenging due to my wife's health issues, and I feel it's essential to devote my attention to supporting her during this time." He added, "I'm resigning to allow the NFF sufficient time to identify and appoint a new manager who can continue to guide this talented squad to success."
Waldrum's resignation marks the end of his tenure as Super Falcons coach, and the search for his successor is expected to commence shortly.
