Ughelli, Delta State - Get ready for the ultimate showcase of Nigeria's football future! The Ughelli North Football Council, in collaboration with renowned international scout, Mr. Paul Ojo Omamomo, Head of Scouting Department at FCD Vista, Botev FC Bulgaria, and P Sports Football Academy, proudly presents the Ughelli North Football Council National U-17 Cup.
From November 1st to 6th, 2024, eight states will converge at the Ughelli Township Stadium and Ogor Technical College Pitch in Ughelli, Delta State, to display their budding talents. This prestigious tournament promises a thrilling display of youthful football prowess.
Chairman of the Ughelli North Football Council, Mr. Onome Ikrechero Johnbull, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. "We're thrilled to partner with renowned international scouts, providing a platform for our talented youths to gain exposure and secure opportunities abroad." Mr. Johnbull commended the Delta State Football Association for their support.

Scouting for Excellence
African Chief Scout of FDC Vista, Mr. Paul Ojo Omamomo, partners with Ughelli North Football Council for the National U-17 Scouting Tournament. FDC Vista, a Russian-based football training and development center, develops players for top European clubs. Mr. Ojo aims to provide opportunities for Nigerian players. Top players will be selected for education and football development in Russia on full scholarship.
The four semi-finalists will receive branded jerseys, and other football equipment will be distributed during the program, including balls. Having received awards for organizing the best scouting program in the country, another award-winning scouting program is in the offering.
