Lagos State Referees' Council member and Nigeria Football Referees' Association representative, Gbemisola Yusuf, has arrived in Cairo, Egypt for the 2024 CAF Young Referee Course.
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) undergraduate was selected among 21 participants for the four-day course, following her impressive performance at the 2023 CAF School Football Tournament in Tanzania.
Gbemisola's rising profile in refereeing has seen her participate in prestigious events, including:
1. FIFA MA Course (2023 and 2024)
2. CAF School Football Tournament (2023)
3. Betsy Obaseki Women Football Championship in Benin, Edo State
Her recent national fitness test pass in Benin demonstrates her commitment to excellence.
