Yenagoa, Bayelsa State - Excellent Football Academy is proud to participate in the 6th Governor Douye Diri International Scouting Program, starting July 1, 2024, at Samson Siasia Sports Complex. Our talented young players will showcase their skills to international scouts, including Ladan Bosso and Glen Stahl, from July 1-4.
The program, organized by Prosperity Cup, aims to identify and develop young talents in the state, aligning with Governor Douye Diri's philosophy of empowering youths through sports. Over 500 youths selected from 22 centers will participate in a week-long camping exercise and a coaching clinic at Golden Tulip Hotel.
CEO of Excellent Football Academy, Mr. Onome Ikrechero Johnbull, is confident that players from the academy will be spotted and commends the Bayelsa State Governor for this initiative. "We are confident that our players will make a lasting impression and bring pride to the academy and the state. I commend the Bayelsa State Governor for this noble initiative."
The program is sponsored by Bayelsa State Government, NCDMB, and other notable organizations. Dignitaries expected at the event include Commissioner for Sports Development, Dr. Daniel Igali, and Commissioner for Youth Development, Hon. Alfred Nimizigha Kemapado.
