EXCELLENT FOOTBALL ACADEMY ARRIVES IN YENAGOA FOR GOV DIRI'S 5TH INTERNATIONAL SCOUTING PROGRAM
Yenagoa, Bayelsa State - June 27, 2024
The scouting exercise, led by U-20 coach Ladan Bosso and Glen Sthal of Sweden, will take place from July 1st to 4th at the Samson Siasia Stadium. A coaching clinic, scheduled for July 1st at the Golden Tulip Hotel, Onopa, will also be held. Over 1,000 youths are invited to participate in the daily screening exercise, which will precede the scouting exercise.
The event will be graced by notable dignitaries, including Dr. Daniel Igali, Commissioner for Sports Development, who will serve as the chairman of the occasion. Hon. Alfred Nimizigha Kemapado, Commissioner for Youth Development, will be the guest of honor, while Hon. Tare Porri, Chairman of the House Committee on Sports, will be the special guest of honor.
The program aims to give youths in the state a productive life through sports, in line with the governor's Prosperity mantra. The scouting exercise and coaching clinic will provide a platform for young football talents to be identified and developed.

"We believe that this program will provide a great opportunity for our players to showcase their skills and potentially secure a spot in a professional football team."
