Ughelli, Nigeria - The Chairman of Ughelli North Football Council, Mr. Onone Ikrechero, has commended Chief Amurun Idama, ESQ, CEO of Arthur Ferdinand Limited and sponsor of the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori U-17 Unity Football competition, for his remarkable and unwavering support of grassroots football in Delta State.
In a heartfelt statement, Mr. Ikrechero expressed his profound gratitude to Chief Idama, lauding him as "a great man that loves the game" and a true patron of football development in the state. He extolled Chief Idama's contributions to football development in Delta State, stating that he has accomplished what no other individual has ever achieved.
"God bless you Boss. What a wonderful and great man you are, we will always be grateful to you," Mr. Ikrechero said. "I have seen what a Man has done in football in Delta State that no man has ever done. Appreciate you Sir, You are one in a Million. You are the best thing that has happened to grassroots football in Delta State."
As the CEO of Excellent Football Academy, Ughelli, Delta State, and Chairman of Ughelli North Football Council, Mr. Ikrechero wished Chief Idama and his family sound health, happiness, joy, long life, and prosperity, saying "NA MAN YOU BE Once More Respect to you Boss Thanks."
The final match of the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori U-17 Unity Football competition is scheduled to hold on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the Ekpan Police Barracks pitch at 2pm between Team Uvwie and Team Ughelli North for the coveted trophy.
