Ughelli, Nigeria - The Executive Chairman of Ughelli North Local Government Area, Honourable Jaro Egbo Ksc, has received the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori U-17 Unity Football Competition trophy, marking a significant milestone for the region's football development.
The trophy was presented to him in a colorful ceremony at his office by the Chairman of the Ughelli North Football Council, Mr. Onome Ikrechero, on Monday. In his remarks, Honourable Jaro Egbo Ksc commended Team Ughelli North for their outstanding performance, which had brought immense pride and glory to the Local Government. He expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the team, coaches, and management, acknowledging their dedication, perseverance, and teamwork as key factors in their success.
The Local Government Chairman reaffirmed his administration's commitment to supporting sports development in the region, assuring the team of continued backing and resources to help them excel in future competitions. As a token of appreciation, Honourable Jaro Egbo Ksc presented the team with 1 million naira, saying the victory was a clear demonstration of the team's potential and the region's rich footballing talent.
